Keltek Preset Torque Wrenches - Crowfoot Style with
Offset
Breakover Mechanism: Our torque wrenches are designed to
have a unique breakover action. When the preset torque
is reached, the handle moves smoothly through 17 degrees
of rotation without exceeding the preset torque. This
design eliminates torque overshoot by allowing the user
time to release pressure on the handle.
Accuracy is plus or minus 5% of the preset torque
setting. The black rubber bellows keeps the breakover
mechanism free of dirt and the plastic handle locates
the user's hand for repeatable torque application.
All tools are preset at the factory. Please choose a
torque setting within the specified range. We assume the
units of torque are in inch pounds unless you specify
otherwise. We will label the torque setting of your tool
in the units that you specify.
Also, please note that if you have selected a small tool
head size, it will not necessarily withstand the entire
torque range of the handle and this may further limit
the allowable torque range. We will advise you if we
feel that the torque setting you have selected is too
high for the tool head.
